Restore Master Key
To restore a master key
· Select the database to create a master key in the object explorer
· Right-click the selected database
· Select 'Database Key -> Restore'
The 'Restore Master Key' dialog will open.
In the dialog, enter the data to restore the master key:
· Enter the password used during the backup of the master key in the Decryption Password
property.
· Enter the password to encrypt the master key once it is loaded in the Encryption Password
property.
· Set the Force option to either true or false.
· Specify the location of the master key backup file in the Restore Location property.
· Click OK.
