Select Database and Procedure

Click 'Connect' to select the SQL Server instance you want to generate a CLR procedure. You can connect with either Windows credentials or a SQL login. Next, the database list will be populated. Select the database and all non-system stored procedures will be listed.

Note: If you would like to include system stored procedure, check the 'Include system objects' box.

Finally, choose the type of procedure you are generating and click 'Next'.

Options

SQL.CLR Standard offers several options when generating the CLR procedure:

  •  Class naming
  •  Create a Visual Studio project
  •  Project naming
  •  Language, supports both C# and VB.net
  •  Build output assembly

Generate

A summary screen is presented to show all the options selected. If you would like to change any options, simple click 'Back' to change any option.
